A Memo or a Destination Tag is an additional address feature necessary for identifying a transaction recipient beyond a wallet address. For cryptocurrencies like Ripple (XRP), Binance Coin (BNB), EOS (EOS) most centralized exchanges, like Binance and Coinbase use one address for all users and the Memo or Destination Tag is used to distinguish one recipient from another on the same service.
Sending XRP, BNB, EOS
When sending EOS, XRP and BNB from Kryptonio to wallet on a centralized exchange, you may also have to enter a Memo or Destination Tag with the recipient's waller address.
If the recipient’s wallet requires this information to receive the coins, the Memo or Destination Tag will be shown on the deposit page near the recipient's wallet address.
It is the responsibility of the sender to obtain the Memo or Destination Tag of the receiving wallet. Without the correct information, tokens might not arrive to the intended recipient or could even get lost.
Receiving XRP, BNB, EOS
To receive XRP, BNB or EOS on Kryptonio, you DO NOT need a Memo or a Destination Tag. All wallet addresses on Kryptonio are unique and are not shared with anyone else.
